Inkscape is the standard if you want a product for free that can produce high quality vector based graphics with. Your better off using something like the free Inkscape to open the eps file, then save it as a pdf and open that in photoshop elements 15. EPS files are supported by several different drawing programs and vector graphic editing applications. The workaround is useless as the low resolution preview tif that opens is not good for anything. Since Inkscape is capable of creating an EPS file, why should Title Studio ever crash when a user attempts to open Inkscape EPS files? Is it the position of Boris FX that Inkscape does not produce valid EPS files? Adobe removed the Open As option on the windows side to make room for Open in Camera raw, im guessing. To me the context of the original post seems overlooked. Reading this thread, it sounds like I wouldn’t be able to open SVG versions of my logo, either.
